I'm in complete agreement!

Though my principle instrument is classical guitar, Michael Hedges is definitely one of my biggest influences.  Even though lots of people imitate his crazy guitar kung-fu style, he's a great embodiment of what I strive to be - a composer, who just happens to play guitar.

A good introduction to him would be the album "Aerial Boundaries", the first album that he really got to have his freedom on.  If anyone wants to hear it, I'd be more than happy to hook anyone up via AIM file transfers. (I have 6 hedges albums on the comp)

Also good : Don Alder, Don Ross, Stanley Jordan, Preston Reed - all of these guys helped pioneer the revolution in acoustic guitar playing as well.

The visions are so lovely, it's no wonder that the nightmares persist.
