This beat is bananas

To go see Crosby, Stills and Nash at the ntelos wireless pavilion in Portsmouth VA August 15th.  The tickets are more of a birthday present from my wife than anything.  She is not a big fan and only knows the real popular songs.  She has only ever been to one real concert too.  We got lawn seats because I'm a cheapo and didnt want to pay 200$.  I can't wait!  It's gonna be so fun.  I've been wanting to see these guys for a long time now.  I have a feeling we will be the youngest ones there.

Oh, too cool! But if it's like the Moody Blues concert we went to there was everything from about 5 years old to 80 there. It was great to see such a wide age group especially when everyone was singing.
Have a wonderful time! Smiley

I'd love to see the moody blues... my wife hates them.  She hates the song nights in white satin because of the poetry reading at the end.  It's one of my favorate parts of the song.  I love the sound of the mellotron they used in alot of their work.  I almost want to get one if I could find one in good shape.  I don't think they make them anymore and if I did find one it would probably be in such poor shape.  Digital stuff is the newer alternative.  You could probably do everything they did and more on garage band nowadays.

The concert was god, the wife and I got t-shirts and a poster.  They didn't play any of the ones I was really hoping for but they did play an awesome version of reason to believe by rod stewart.

Glad you had a good time. They're classic.
If you haven't checked it out there's quite a bit of mellotron on you tube. Really great instrument. Good luck finding one. That would be great.
