Commentary about Ape Diet and other diet discussions

Engel, did you happen to check with a doc to make sure your blood sugar could handle that diet? Maybe that's what caused the light headedness. Were those people that did the diet having to work and chase a little kid or were they just holed up in the tent or whatever for the extent of the experiment? If there was no exertion involved other than self maintenance maybe that's something that should be looked into, too.
My son just started a body builders' diet. He's on a 3000 calorie/ 8 meal a day diet. I cautioned him about cholesterol since mine is messed up probably from heredity. He said on this one he'll be eating a whole lot healthier than he usually does. I'm not sure what all he's eating yet, but I'll find out when I talk to him again. This diet only lasts 4 weeks and I told him it would get dull. He said that's why most people don't last on it the full 4 weeks.

I thought about the blood sugar being low because of the diet but I have eaten way too much sweet fruits for my blood sugar to be low.

Might it be from the timing of when you ate it? Maybe that needs to be juggled around for you personally.
