So this has kind of been going on for time
And this has slowly been wearing down my skin
And this has kind of been kind of like a kind of gloom
And this has slowly become the rain on my parade

But I'll destroy every piece of myself

So this has slowly rotted my heart

I sold them both a long long time ago
SO this is the end of this book
So this is the start of a new chapter

But she reminds me
Of exactly how it used to be

She's showing me the light
She's opening closed doors
She's reminding me of what I used to be
She's keeping me on track
She's the kisses on my cheek
And she's my umbrella on a rainy day

So this is getting to me
Getting to me, I regret that it's getting to me
But was it such an illusion

But I guess it's sort of fine
Sort of fine in the sense of silver linings
And now I'm on my knees

But I'll just shred my skin
Show all my guts standing in a gutter

Judge every piece of me

Or cut iff every tendon
And she's there
TO put me back on track again

She's showing me her smile

Her eyes are like the key
The ignition of my machine
Her hands are the gentle
Push to the metal
