Kind of.

I used to post in this forum a lonnnnnnnnnnng time ago. Back in the hayday of stayne_falls, shen-an-doah, monkey boy, and a bunch of other people I can't remember. I noticed that Nicklz is still here.

I'm contemplating whether to reveal my identity or keep it a secret. A spooky scooby-doo secret.

meh. I'm not old man Jenkins from the Amusement Park. I'm andyman.

So is this place worth wasting my time on again or not?

not a huge secret since you came back earlier with this ID I think.

Most of the tc people shifted to amp-x after an altercation of sorts. I kinda hung back but I visit both places...tc alone isn't busy enough because there are about 4 people active here and that too not very.

Hey there cardboard boatman. How's it going? We're not as heavily populated, but, yup, I'm still here. I remembered a name at least similar to your current screen name, too.

quick question: what about guitar/music?
lol. not much. the only thing I have from before is my acoustic.

I used to play on an oscar schmidt delta king and a fender mexican tele through a crate VC-50.

I traded the VC-50 to a guy on craigslist to get a halfstack (crappy crate solid state head with a peavy 4x12 cab; I don't have any pics of it uploaded anywhere.)

Playing through a Stratocaster I bought off a tech at guitar center. He told me it's american and mid 90s, but the serial's been scratched off (sometimes done to prevent pawning if it's stolen). He told me what pickups were in it, but I can't remember. PLays like a dream.

My other guitar is an LTD FX-400; explorer style body with natural finish and EMG 81/60 setup.

I play the strat mostly clean. I might use my chorus pedal every once in a while, but I'm a Texas boy, and Texas music don't need no fancy effects.

The FX-400 however- she gets played through an EHX Metal Muff (creams), A dunlop slash crybaby wah, and anything I might have laying around that I want to throw into the loop. Those are my two main ones, and I'm always looking for more shit to throw in there.

That natural wood guitar has beautiful grain. I love spalted wood like that.

So what made you go into the nursing field? And congratulations on that, too.

Well, I started EMT classes on a whim; told myself I'd try it and if I didn't like it, it could be a job while I was in college. Fell in love with it, went through paramedic school, got a job working 911 and got into an accident at work which helped my trying to figure out if I wanted to go to a fire department or work in a hospital as a Nurse.

It's kind of hard to crash a hospital. (long story short)
