Welcome to this little corner where the artists amongst us reside.Wether you're a writer or not, feel free to browse this little section and enjoy the work of the posters here. Every post made here is considered copyrighted from the moment of posting. Beware of copycats and be sure to mail your writings to yourself with a date on the envelope, in case proof is required.
If you decide to post something here, wether it's a song or a critique ("crit" for short) keep these simple rules in mind :
1. Posting a song
When posting a song, you must post at least three crits before posting one of your own songs. This rules applies for each song you want to post, so one song equals 3 crits, two songs equals 6 crits, etc. .Please refrain from posting more than one song per day.
2. Critiques, or "Crits"
Critiques are responses on your work, or the work of others. Please be supportive of the writer's work and try to be informative on the point where the writer needs work, or deserves praise. Please refrain from saying a simple "Meh, i didn't like this" or a "hey, good stuff", try to elaborate what you did or did not like about the song and offer pointers.Basically, crit as you would want to be critted.Feel free to be harsh, but refrain from personal attacks or otherwise hurtfull comments.
3. Moderators or "Mods"
Mods have the power to edit and delete posts they deem offensive and have the possibility to ban users from the forums as well.Normally you will recieve fair warning, but serious and repeat offenders can meet the bad end of the stick here. There is no censorship here, all topics can be written about, but keep in mind that your view on the world is not the only one.We applaud discussions, but again, no personal attacks or otherwise hurtfull comments.
This thread will be updated at some point during the future and the mods are open for comments via Private Message or "PM" for short.Thank you for reading the rules, enjoy your stay on the TabCrawler Forums !
