I made a turkey meatloaf. I didn't add the cranberries though. I did some taters around it and some gravy in a jar. It doesn't shrink so that's pretty cool.
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey 1 (120 g) box turkey stuffing mix 2 eggs 1/3 cup milk or water 1/2 cup onion, diced 1/2 cup celery, diced 1/2 cup dried cranberries
Directions
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well. 2. Transfer to a greased loaf pan,. 3. Bake uncovered for 50-60 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven. 4. Remove from heat and allow to rest for ten minutes before slicing.

The above recipe got rave reviews from the whole family and I gave mom the leftovers for her supper and she wants the recipe now, too. It's a keeper!
Tonight is venison kielbasi and Kraft mac n cheese.

tonight we marinated some giant portobella mushrooms in pineapple teriaki(sp?) sauce all day and then grill them up like hamburger patties with some swiss chess and put them on a bun... honestly one of my favorite meals that i discovered during my 7 or 8 year veggie time, that i probably need to get back to.

Taco Bell tonight. Last night the ole man made penne pasta with tomato sauce, romano cheese, and bulk Italian sausage. It was really good--- and I didn't have to cook! The night before he made burgers on the grill and we had tater salad on the side.

ha... last night we had "mini penne" pasta with portabella mushrooms, and orange bell peppers with mozzarella cheese and butter and garlic sauce, it was actually pretty good for a night before pay day meal. but seriously i am like obsessed with these "mini" pastas that barilla has now they are amazing, and cute, mine and baby's favorite is the mini bowties!

I got some super big rotini that was tricolored at Aldi's that was really good. That penne he got really blew up big! We have leftover pasta, but not much sauce. That bitty stuff is cool in stuff. Maybe I'll get some for soup.

Smokey mountain beef stew.
For this recipe you need access to a smoker or even just some liquid smoke..
In the morning wood smoke enough beef for the people you're feeding for about 2 hours using alder for the first hour and oak for the last. The oak has a mellow flavor that cant be beat. The alder can be be a fruit wood like plum or apple if you choose. Experiment. For liquid smoke you need to be careful with the amount, its very strong and goes a long way in normal recipes. -Enough beef -enough garlic -some oyster mushrooms -enough carrots -enough potatoes -tomato paste 1 can -lots of fresh tomatoes -salt -pepper -1 teaspoon curry powder -olive oil
Take the beef out of the smoker and put it in a pot with olive oil and some garlic medium heat till starting to smell good add all other stuff and cook on low all day till dark. Add water now and then eat with russian rye bread and jack daniels.
