The oldilockses will remember the cast of Hee Haw hollering that to Grandpa Jones and he'd reply some tasty southern vittles like 'possum and greens or something.
So what's for eats? Tonight I'm having city chicken-which is actually pork cubes on sticks- and I cooked them in some soy sauce because I can't find my bbq sauce. And I also made some boiled taters with the skins on and butter. Ice cream for dessert.

I really want pizza for dinner tonight. I don't know why, but I do. I don't want to cook. My arms are still a little fatigued from fighting with my manuel pasta machine yesterday. I made a batch of homemade noodles and couldn't clamp the thing down anywhere. I think I may have to turn one of my "project" tables into a dedicated noodle making stand. They turned out beautifully though and I dried them on a cookie sheet on the dashboard of my Blazer where it was hot. I made homemade alfredo sauce for them later on and fixed some boneless cajun spiced pork chops.

lol You sound like my kids. They debate on the good part sometimes, but neither of them look like they're starving.

it would be so nice to live close enough to work to get home at a decent hour and have the boy there and do fancy things like spent time together and get to see the baby and cook dinner, oh to eat food that is made in a kitchen and not like the kitchen of a mcdonald's

haha My son just sent me this from upstairs. Mind you he's 28 years old!
"EAT!!! EAAAAAAAAAAT!! EAT MOMMY EATTTTTTTTT!"

His brother was sleeping in a crib at my inlaws when he was 2 and when he woke up he started shaking the side of the crib and hollering that. It's been a joke ever since.

after sawing away what seemed like millions of bamboo stalks, we had baked chicken and corn on the cob (the sweet ones, oh so good)... it wasn't quite the reward that i would have given myself for hours of labor though... Undecided

We couldn't have filet mignon last night cuz the rain knocked the power out and the stores closed so we're doing that today instead. Celebrating eldest son's new job.
