what do you poons think about them?

I am thinking of picking up a cheapo beginner's set to play about on. the small size and low volume are ideal for me, as well as the price. but are they any good?

If you're just practicing and don't care about the sound then a cheap one should be good. Though be careful you don't !#@! your wrists hitting them too hard, as the pads don't have as much give as proper drums...
