this is a competition... plz sticky admins.

Post a recording of yourself doing whatever cover, original, improv, it dont matter then we will have a vote when the competition is over July 15th... that should be plenty of time.  This is a guitar forum... START PLAYING GUITAR!!!

Pffft, I can write awesome riffs that have impeccable groove and timing in pretty much any time signature you could ask for. i soooo win.

I am, however, a pretty terrible lead player and can at most do a decent melodic solo...

To be quite honest, I thought this was a pretty cool idea, and may even post a piece myself.  I know that I suck, but what the !#@!...

Some of that is stuff that I've already posted before, but considering that I won't be anywhere near an internet connection that isn't faster than about 14kbps for a while, that is all I can bring to the table right now.

Yes, competing is stupid, but this thread is probably the most entertaining thing that will take place at TC for the next few days, so I'm in.

And I hope bjr posts something.  I always enjoyed his stuff.  I still had "escape the roar" on my PC before lightning struck it and pretty much trashed it.
