Don't know your price but for about $200 check out this Behringer BX1800 Ultrabass Bass Combo Amp (180 Watts, 1x15 in-)

Or this Ampeg for about $450.

Stay the hell away from Marshall and Ibanez bass amps. And Ibanez amps in general.

What is wrong with either amp?

They suck.

You wouldn't think that with Ibanez' reputation with their electronics.

I think their guitars/pups are great, but the Ibanez amps I've used are horrible.

Basson Amps make quality cabs, along with mesa boogie and gallien krueger (sp?)
for heads, i like hartke and peavy though.

as for the ibanez and marshall bass amps...
the reason why you should stay away (and a general rule of thumb) is because ibanez is known for making guitars... amps just isn't their thing
marshall makes guitar amps, not too well known for making bass amps. so they're not too good quality.

general rule of thumb: if a company is known for making one thing, don't buy the other thing they make... chances are whatever is next to it will be better quality

I have been an Ampeg fan for years but I have a friend doing the GK thing now. Holy C#@p....He can plug the cheapest bass you can name into it and dial the greatest sound!
I think I will have to give em a try!
