So far, I've got:
£95 on eBay, usually go for £200
Getting my 70's Carlsbro PA Head into action, so that's the overdrive sorted. This thing kicks massive ass, it's a valve pre-amp in a pedal.
Next up:
Zakk Wylde Crybaby, probably another £90
Boss Octave Pedal, around £60
I'm not a huge effects guru, I like to keep it fairly basic, anything else you would suggest is a must?

Hehe, yessir it is indeed, as are phasers and chorus pedals. But as fun as they are, I can't see an opportunity in AF when I'd use it, seeing as I do rhythm and the only time I play lead is for the harmonies, hence the octave pedal. I'm trying to keep it basic so I don't have to cart a load of gear around.
Oh, I forgot to mention my 6-way AVT pedal on there as well.

Yeh, I mostly only use tremelo in SP for at the end of our set when I just make lots of noise and feedback
I'm not the best one to ask, seeing as my pedal setup for guitar is just my shredmaster...
Oooh, you need a good tuner! The Boss TU-2 is pretty damn good.

Yeh, a pedal tuner is a must for playing live. Not only for tuning, but as a mute switch so you're not making horrible noises between songs...

My guitar stays in tune fairly well, both of us who play guitar can go a 30 minute set without having to tune up, so it might be a bit pointless. Also, in between songs for muting I change to my bridge pickup (who's volume is on about 4) and stick it on the acoustic/clean channel.

It's still a lot easier for tuning up at the start, plus if something disasterous happens, like dropping your guitar (like Tommy did at our last gig), it's pretty damn useful.

Hmm, well for the first point, the other guitarist doesn't actually own a tuner, so !#@! knows how he practices on his own, so we have to share at gigs.
Did the strap come off or did it slide off his shoulder?

Strap came off. He has a locking trem, so it meant a 5 minute puase while he had to retune...

I'd imagine he tunes it to itself.

Yeah, relative tuning would work on it's own, but we both practice separately to tracks we've recorded/written on guitar pro.
