ok well ive got a squier bullet sitting at home, its a pretty cheap piece of wood, sounds pretty tingy...just wondering what people think. should i get it done up (EMG pickups and all that jazz) or should i just leave it?
any advice id good advice, so chip in, cheers Smiley

I think the Squier Bulletts were made with MDF. I'd get a new body if I did anything, but... I dont know, it'd probably be cheaper to just get a new guitar in the long run.

Like Brent said, Squier Bullets are made of laminated hardwood, and aren't very great to begin with. In all honesty, I'd just get a new guitar if I were you. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket and don't want a new guitar, then go ahead and doll it up. I don't think it would be a good investment. The body is cheap. The neck is cheap. Most likely, it isn't a very precise instrument, as far as guitars go. You'd be better off buying an Epiphone or a Squier Standard Strat or a low-end Parker or something.
